LIVE UPDATES: Newtown Conn., School Shooting

7:51 a.m.: Some but not all victims have been removed from the school, police tell ABC News.

7:50 a.m.: Lanza appears to have gained entry into the school by breaking a window, Lt, George Sinko, of the Newtown Police, tells ABC News.

7:46 a.m.: Janet Robinson, superintendent of Newtown Schools, say there is no record that Adam Lanza or his mother Nancy Lanza worked at the school. Previous reports indicated she was a teacher or teacher’s aide there.

7:45 a.m.: WATCH upcoming press conference with Conn. State Police at 8 a.m. The names of the victims may be released at that time.

On Friday, Dec. 14, gunman Adam Lanza, 20, killed 20 children, 6 adults and himself at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Conn. Prior to the rampage he shot his mother at her home nearby.
