For the 2nd Time in the Last 3 Weeks, "This Week" NBC's "Meet the Press" in Adults 25-54

On December 2, 2012, ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" drew 2.390 million Total Viewers and 755,000 Adults 25-54, according to Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" saw increases over its performance the previous Sunday (2.303 million and 673,000, respectively, on 11/25/12) in Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 25-54 (+12%), while both CBS' "Face the Nation (-11%/-20%) and NBC's "Meet the Press" (-4%/-27%) turned in losses.

"This Week" was up over the year-ago Sunday in Total Viewers (+6% - 2.262 million on 12/04/12), posting year-to-year improvement in all 10 telecasts of the season. In addition, "This Week" stood as the only public affairs program to see its Total Viewer count grow year to year, as NBC's "Meet the Press" (-6%), CBS' "Face the Nation" (-11%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday (-2%) were all down.

For the 2nd time in the last 3 weeks, "This Week" outdelivered NBC's "Meet the Press" in Adults 25-54 (+35,000).

Season to date, " This Week" is up sharply in Total Viewers (+19%) and Adults 25-54 (+18%) versus its year-ago season averages, delivering its largest numbers in 3 years - since the 2009-10 season.
