The UK has many more guns than SK and a lower homicide rate, Switzerland has far far more guns than than the UK and SK and an even lower homicide rate. The pattern is basically the same for the rest of Europe so enjoy your crap civil liberties and no hope for safety when trouble comes, silly Korean women.

You can tell a lot about a country by its gun laws, look at North Korea and China, no guns for the people – huge history of genocide mass murder be government.

I was stationed in South Korea in 1978. With their total ban of gun, I saw larger, stronger men walk into shops and push down older merchants and take their money. I saw older women man handled and robbed. Not the perfect world it is portrayed.

Try telling that to all the Korean American’s that saved thier business by arming themselves and fighting back during the Los Angeles riots (biggest Korean community in the US).

You are just a statist that thinks the people should be ruled instead of the PEOPLE being the rulers, which is what Democracy is all about. How can the people rule if the only ones armed are the Govt. and Criminals.

God forbid the north ever Mobilize against the south, the people will be screwed if they break the initial line of defense. A similar situation could never happen in the US or countries with a true Militia system like Switzerland.

If you look at the Swiss most gun related deaths are due to suicide. You don’t need a gun for that and suicide is a big problem.
