To then have her neck heal up and have the feather pop back out of it? Wow.... More than likely as the article states, she swallowed the feather. It then just as a splinter would do, probably got stuck in her cheek or throat which then formed an abscess and then it was pushed out by the body. If I chew up and swallow glass, you know what will happen? I will get my throat ct up, and possibly come other organs. The glass will NOT come out through my chest, stomach, throat, fingers, knees, or anything. If I swallow a penny, it will not imbed itself in my intestinal tract trying to get out. If I swallow pins, they will NOT pierce my stomach trying to eject themselves. Your body does not simply expel things in this manner. If I chew up and swallow glass, you know what will happen?
