Auditorium H (Holmes) huh… I bought a DVD “Basic Instinct” that had an (ice pick “pen”) in it, what’s next…? “The Dark Knight Rises” with an “AK-47 in it???

I don’t know why people think a space has to become a mausoleum just because someone died there. Cinemark has the right idea – life goes on for the living. Unfortunately, I think logic will escape Sandy Hook and a perfectly good building will be razed based on nothing but emotion.

You right about Sandy Hook. People need to learn how to not let these monsters win. That school need to reopened and those kids taught not to be scared. If Pearl Highschool down here in Mississippi, the site of the 1st school murders in the USA, had the same way of thinking, that place would not be standing today. They reopened and the town moved on stronger and better. They didn’t close or destroy a single room in that school. Kids came back and graduated and was not tramatized by going back.

The real question is did theater management learn their lesson about gun free zones? Make sure they allow those with concealed carry permits onto the premises. A good guy with a gun is the only person who can stop a bad guy with a gun.

now why would a movie complex turn into a gameroom. What was Cinemark supposed to do after 6 months. Just keep the doors closed. It is a business that had to reopen at some time. Cinemark had nothing to do with the killing of those people. The parents are blamming the wrong people. The only person they need to be mad at is that weak, worthless, sack of crap that did all the shooting and killing.

Cinemark lied and told the families that they were going to turn theater 9 into a game room, which of course they did not. Also one of the girls that did a walk through yesterday, that was shot in theater 8 said that her blood was still on the seat. (of course that isn’t in the news). The news keeps making it sound like families are boycotting because of the invitation. It’s because they were lied to.

Sounds fine, but something else should have been done with Auditorium Holmes/Auditorium Haunted. Maybe a gallery of movie posters and memorabilia or something? I mean, who’s going to want to want to see a movie in that pace except ghost hunters, copycat killers, and freaks? The thought gives me the heebie jeebies.

If they’re like the other Century theaters, you’ll get “Django”, “Gangster Squad” and “Last Stand”, all three Kumbaya movies with nary a whiff of violence in them!

Why did they name it Auditorium H? Did they name it after Holmes? Sure looks like it. That is stupid and disrespectful. They should give it another letter.
