Bests "Ferguson" and "Fallon" in New Time Period

On January 8, 2013, the 12:35 a.m. time period debut ABC's "Nightline" drew 1.721 million Total Viewers, according to Fast National Preliminary Live + Same Day Nielsen data. In its common half-hour versus its CBS and NBC competition, "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in overall viewers, outdrawing CBS' "Late Late Show Show with Craig Ferguson" by 303,000 (1.418 million) and NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" by 218,000 (1.503 million).

In addition, "Nightline" outperformed CBS' "Late Late Show" in the common half-hour by 39,000 Adults 25-54 (669,000 vs. 630,000) and by 9,000 Adults 18-49 (464,000 vs. 455,000).
