First degree, appeal and Supreme Court in Guede connected trial made judicial truth the multiple killer scenario based on a large set of evidence. This cannot be forgotten … the solid evidence leaves little chances to Knox and Sollecito who will be confirmed guilty IMO by [new] appeal and supreme court. The presence of AK and RS is confirmed by AK’s confession, by AK’s memorial written in prison, by Rudy Guede who testified in the appeal trial and before to the police.

guilty as by conviction to 26 years which she got in first trial and is now back in force awaiting appeal (previous appeal was declared invalid by supreme court probably for illogical motivation). First trial conviction well motivated in over 400 pages by court, unless great surprises in new appeal will be convicted for murder. currently finally convicted by supreme court for defaming patrick lumumba so a proven liar.

After 40 hours of relentless duress she “confessed” and sold out the angelic nightclub owner (we all know that nightclub owners are beyond suspicion). That’s 40 hours longer than it took for Mussolini to sell out Italy to Hitler. Tha’s 40 hours longer than it took Italy to release a Palestinian terrorist who killed an American Jewish retiree. Of course, we should hold her to a higher standard than terrorists, Italians and their leaders. After all she’s an American school girl. The worst kind of villian.

@Erik ~~~ Agree on some points, but Italian tabloids and particularly British press spun crazy stories out of every detail in the Kercher murder case to sell newspapers. Much misinformation was published and accepted as “truth” untll several investigative journalists exposed the many rumors as lies that had been published about Amanda and Raffaele. A panel in Rome demolished the tainted”DNA evidence” that many Italians presumed accurately implicated Amanda/Raffa. Most Italians are logical, well-educated and fair people. They were fed a lot of false information by the press. It was not strictly anti-American sentiment. Don’t forget that Raffaele Sollecito is Italian, whose family has lived in Italy for generations. Raffaele didn’t get a break from the “guilters” either.

Amanda Knox is obviously innocent of this crime; however, she is guilty of being an American girl in a foreign country. I can understand the Kercher family’s grief and anger but it’s directed toward the wrong person! I would be upset at the Italian prosecutors for making up evidence, giving the real convicted killer Rudy Guede such a lenient sentence and accusing an innocent person for the death of their loved one. Also, I blame George Bush for the harsh anti-American sentiment in Italy – I mean come on cheering outside when Knox was found guilty what’s that?! It’s so obvious what went on in this case and it’s disgusting. Thank God Amanda is back home in America.

What about Raffaele Sollecito? He’s a HERO. He was offered freedom to blame Amanda, and refused to do so. His family and friends said, “Look, Raffi, you’ve only known this girl 7 days. Save yourself.” He refused, and suffered 4 years in prison and 2 murder trials. You never hear about Raffaele in the US press, but he is man of tremendous honor and fortitude.

Ridiculous that Rudy Guede had his sentence reduced for his lies. That sociopath not only raped and murdered Meredith, he took her wallet and went drinking and dancing at a disco directly after slicing her throat. Guede should NEVER be released.

Mignini, the prosecutor in the Knox/Sollecito trials is currently under indictment for abuse of power in an unrelated case. Also went on other “witch hunts” in unsolved murders in Florence, Italy.
Mignini has a track record of extreme bias, and prosecuting innocent people based on “hunches, not evidence.

RIP Meredith. Hopefully one day the Kercher family can find closure to this terrible, senseless tragedy.

Her DNA was found in the sink mixed with blood because she said the morning she came to the apartment to take a shower she used the sink and saw a small amount ot blood but didn’t think much about it because it was so small. It wasn’t until she got out of the shower that she saw blood on the floor mat and called her mother in America. She then went to her boyfriend and told him and he called local authorities. None of her DNA or her boyfriend’s were found in the room… a room covered with blood. Rudy Guede’s was all over the place including isnide her. His bloody handprint was on the wall, his bloody footprint on the wall. his fingerprints, DNA on her purse that he took money from… his DNA inside her. Amanda would have had to be hovering over the room not to contaminate it. Don’t understand why people are so stupid and base everything on her actions which the press manipulated. We all behave differntly to tragedy. Who hasn’t laughed or smiled at a funeral? You do trying to ease the stress and sadness, you share stories with people about the person or try to cheer each other up. The press only showed the moments that looked suspicious. But that doesn’t not mean she was guilty.
Guede had a criminal record, broke into buildins and apartments, was even caught breaking in a daycare in Milan armed with a knife. He is the killer! And because of a corrupt prosecutor will who wanted to save face and make an international hame for himself will be free in a matter of years, maybe next year. Why isn’t the Kercher family upset about that. Yes, Merdith is a victim and should never be forgotten. But Amanda has suffered too. She’s a very gentle girl. I would be much angrier in the interview about being robbed of my freedom and having my name and reputation destroyed. She will NEVER completely get that back!!

Subjective assumptions and analysis are not concrete evidence. It is because of these emotional judgements that there are such differences of opinion. That is why good legal systems demand analysis of objective facts and logic. There was no DNA of either Amanda or her boyfriend at the scene of the crime (and the bra strap does not count because it was tampered with). The crime scene was not cleaned up and covered in blood, therefore should have contained dna of the perpetrator. And it did: Rudy Guede. If Amanda and bf were involved, the probably of their dna not being anywhere at the scene would be worse than the chance of walking out your door today and being struck by lightening while also winning the lottery.

Didn’t Knox LIVE AT THE place the murder took place? So… kind of hard for there NOT have ANY of her DNA around. PLUS.. if you read the Article.. it does state that Amanda’s DNA was found down in the sink mixed in with the Dead Girls blood.. making DA’s think she washed the Girl’s blood off her hands.

By her own admission Amanda behaved naively and/or inappropriately after the murder. She also also admitted that there were statements she made that were not true early on in the process. This, to me, is human behavior vs. forensics. My money is on the science. Those of you who say she is guilty are probably people who can’t admit when they are wrong in general. This young woman, as much as your prejudices may say otherwise, is innocent.
