On September 1, 2013, ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" averaged 2.706 million Total Viewers and 756,000 Adults 25-54 , according to Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" improved on the prior week in Total Viewers (+9%) and Adults 25-54 (+1%) - 2.491 million and 749,000, respectively, on 8/26/13). In fact, growing its news demo audience for the 4th week in a row, "The Week" drew its largest Adult 25-54 audience in more than 4 months - since 4/21/13.

"This Week" outperformed CBS' "Face the Nation" in Total Viewers (+78,000) for the 4th Sunday in a row, its longest streak over the CBS program in nearly 4 years - since 11/22 - 12/13/09 .

Season to date, " This Week" is up in Total Viewers (+9%) and Adults 25-54 (+1%) versus its year-ago season averages, delivering its most-watched season in 4 years - since the 2008-09 season. In addition, "This Week" is improving the most over the previous in Total Viewers, while standing as the only public affairs program to grow in Adults 25-54 compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (+7%/-1%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-2%/-7%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+6%/-3%).
