Unique Users Across GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! Up Month Over Month and Year Over Year

Two years ago ABC News and Yahoo News joined together to form the Yahoo-ABC News Network, a strategic alliance that continues to change the delivery of news and information across the digital space. Today the Yahoo-ABC News Network continues to lead the way in online news, reaching the largest digital audience across all platforms.  As the leader of news and information online, the Yahoo-ABC News Network has consistently outpaced its online competitors for 20 consecutive months. For the month of September the Yahoo-ABC News Network continued this winning streak, delivering more total page views and more unique visitors than any other online news source, according to data provided by comScore.

Page Views:

Total page views across the Yahoo-ABC News Network increased from August to September 2013. For the month, the Yahoo-ABC News Network delivered a combined total of 2.6 billion page views, outperforming:

•             Yahoo-ABC News Network (2.6 billion)

•             CNN Network by 44% (1.8 billion)

•             HMPG News by 115% (1.2 billion)

•             CBS News by 160% (1 billion)

•             Fox News Digital by 182% (928 million)

•             NBC News Digital by 202% (866 million)

•             New York Times Digital by 325% (615 million)

More unique visitors turned to the Yahoo-ABC News Network in September than any other online news source. For the month the Yahoo-ABC News Network delivered over 76 million unique visitors, outperforming:

•             Yahoo-ABC News Network (76 million)

•             CNN Network by 14% (66 million)

•             HPMG News by 29% (59 million)

•             NBC News Digital by 58% (48 million)

•             CBS News by 89% (40 million)

•             New York Times Digital by 137% (32 million)

•             Fox News Digital Network by 165% (29 million)

Video Views:

A top provider of news and information videos online, the Yahoo-ABC News Network continues to deliver video coverage of the stories that users value most.  Over the past two years, the Yahoo-ABC News Network has been responsible for providing thousands of hours of original video content and live stream experiences, in-depth reporting and exclusive interviews to millions of users across digital platforms.

From exclusive ABC News interviews with President Barack Obama and George Stephanopoulos to countless episodes of Newsmakers, Power Players, Katie’s Take and This Could Be Big, last month millions of unique viewers turned to the Yahoo-ABC News Network.  More viewers also tuned in to the recently launched daily, digital extensions of ABC’s World News and Nightline on Yahoo. In September GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo held its position as the #1 morning news show website for 11 consecutive months, leading Today.com with over 22 million unique visitors.  Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo had 4 million more unique visitors in September compared to Today.com. From lifestyles and entertainment features to interviews and breaking news stories, more unique visitors turned to GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo last month, with total unique visitors up month over month (+5%) and year over year (+2%).
