Airing on “20/20,” Friday, December 13, 10 pm on ABC

It was a story that made national headlines – Scott Catt, his 20-year-old son Hayden, and his 18-year-old daughter Abby accused of working together to rob a bank in Texas.  Did a dad really enlist his kids to rob banks, ultimately landing them all behind bars?  Matt Gutman reports on the unlikely family drama, with first time ever jailhouse interviews with Hayden and Abby describing the crimes and their father’s secret double life.  And for the first time since they were sent to jail, brother and sister meet for a heartbreaking good-bye.   The “20/20″ report also includes exclusive letters written by Scott, which ask his kids to do time so maybe he could do less time; the first national broadcast of the police interrogation tapes in which Scott reveals a life of crime dating back a decade; and an interview with Scott, who just pleaded guilty last week.

“20/20″ airs on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
