ESPN SportsCenter Index Now Available on ABCNews.com

This morning ABC News President Ben Sherwood sent the following note to the news division announcing that ESPN's SportsCenter content is now available on ABCNews.com:

Earlier this year we gathered in the newsroom to discuss our 2013 priorities for the news division. One of our goals is to expand the reach, impact and business of ABC News Digital.

Today I am delighted to announce an exciting new partnership between ABC News Digital and ESPN that expands the content available to our digital audience.

For the first time, ABC News and ESPN have joined together to create a brand new sports index on ABCNews.com, highlighting the top stories and video replays from SportsCenter, the leading destination for sports news and information.

Anyone who visits ABCNews.com will now have access to the most detailed and up-to-the-minute sports coverage, videos and social feeds from the SportsCenter team, anytime, anywhere.

From in-depth coverage of the 2013 Winter Olympics in Sochi to the 2014 Super Bowl, our sports index provides users with an all-access pass to premier sporting events and news highlights from around the world.

SportsCenter is the absolute authority in sports news, offering feature stories, live scores, commentary and detailed analysis to millions of sports fans every day.

We look forward to working closely together as we build out ABCNews.com's sports vertical and explore new content features in the coming months. This is only the first step in our collaboration.

Please join me in congratulating Joe Ruffolo and the ABC News Digital team and thanking John Kosner, Rob King and our friends at ESPN for making this exciting news possible.
