A Florida Highway Patrol trooper and a Miami Beach officer saved the life of a man in a serious traffic accident using CPR - and a car dashcam caught the whole thing.
The driver, Kareem Shaker, crashed into a guardrail and was knocked unconscious, ABC affiliate WSVN reported. Trooper Yudiel Santana and Miami Beach officer Tino Serrano pulled over and saw the man having convulsions, without a pulse.
The pair performed CPR and brough Shaker back to consciousness. He was taken to a hospital and has since been released.
"Thank God, for him, I was close in the area. God used me to give this guy a second opportunity, a second chance at life," Santana told WSVN. "I didn't think about anything. I just react to it. There is no time to think, every second counts."
Officials are still investigating what caused the crash.
