Former US Olympic Sprinter Wins Silver in Bobsled

Four members of Team USA will be taking the podium today in Sochi for the women's bobsled awards, following two days of competition that ended with a silver and bronze medal for the U.S.

Former summer Olympian Lauryn Williams and teammate Elana Meyers narrowly missed a gold in their final heat on the bobsled course after skating through the first three heats in first place.

Jamie Greubel and Aja Evans clinched their third place finish just ahead of their teammates' run.

Canada took the gold in the competition.

Though it was a momentous day for U.S. Women's bobsledders, the star of the event, former Olympic hurdler Lolo Jones, failed to place in the competition.
