Olympic Record: Ran the 60 meter and 100 meter hurdles in the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, where she narrowly missed winning a medal. After the 2012 Olympics, Jones decided to try to earn a spot on the Olympic Bobsled Team for 2014.

Background: ESPN made a documentary about Jones in 2012 called “Lolo” that followed the runner’s rise from poverty and homelessness to a spot at Louisiana State University and her quest for an Olympic medal. Jones underwent spinal surgery after the 2008 Olympics and rebounded in time for the 2012 games. She made the 2014 bobsled team last month.
