ABC NEWS ANNOUNCES SPECIAL COVERAGE FOR BOSTON MARATHON MEMORIAL SERVICE, ANNIVERSARY AND 2014 RUN

Anchors Diane Sawyer, Dan Harris, Amy Robach, Bob Woodruff and Correspondent Brian Ross Will Report for All ABC News Programs & Platforms

ABC News and ESPN Will Collaborate on "E:60? Special and Other Programming

ABC News will air special programming to honor the victims and survivors of the tragic bombing at the Boston marathon one year ago and cover this year's marathon and security detail. " World News" Anchor Diane Sawyer, " Nightline" and " Good Morning America" Weekend Edition Co-Anchor Dan Harris, " Good Morning America" Anchor Amy Robach, Anchor Bob Woodruff and Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross will report for all ABC News programs and platforms, including " Good Morning America," " World News with Diane Sawyer," " Nightline," " This Week with George Stephanopoulos," ABC News Radio, ABCNews.com and all digital platforms, and ABC NewsOne.

Harris will report live from Boston to cover the events of both the Boston Memorial Service on Tuesday, April 15 and the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 21; Robach will profile a family impacted by the Boston Marathon bombing; and Ross will provide updates on where the investigation stands and the latest on alleged perpetrator Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. Also, "This Week" will interview Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick on Sunday, April 13 and preview the security for this year's marathon on Sunday, April 20.

ESPN's " Outside the Lines" will air live from Boston with Anchor Bob Ley on Tuesday, April 15. " E:60 Presents "Dream On: Stories from Boston's Strongest", hosted by Woodruff, will pay tribute to survivors on Saturday, April 12 at 4 p.m. on ABC and Tuesday, April 15 on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET. ESPN's new podcast show " Capital Games with Katz and Klein" will launch on Monday, April 14 examining issues of security around major sporting events. Guests include Governor Patrick and Rep. Peter King (R-NY).

ABC News Digital will offer coverage through the lens of the hero survivors and their uplifting stories of strength and perseverance through images and video over the past year of recovery, as well as, roll out a series of original videos around the anniversary and showcase the most iconic moments from the tragic day. ABC News Digital will air live, anchored coverage of the Boston Marathon Ceremony on Tuesday, April 15 at www.abcnews.com/live along with continuous updates throughout the day.

ABC News Radio will provide live coverage of the ceremony and the anniversary throughout the day on Monday, April 15, as well as, the running of this year's marathon on Monday, April 21. ABC News Correspondent Scott Goldberg will anchor with ABC News Correspondent Aaron Katersky in Boston.

ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service, will provide full coverage and live reports at both events from Boston with ABC NewsOne Correspondents Tahman Bradley and Marci Gonzalez for more than 200 ABC affiliates, stations and clients.
