ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked No. 1 during 1st Quarter 2014 in both Total Viewers (5.908 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.339 million) , according to Nielsen Media Research . 1Q14 represented "GMA's" 7th consecutive quarter victory in Total Viewers and 6th in a row in Adults 25-54. Further, after also winning the year-ago quarter, "GMA" marked its first back-to-back 1st quarter victories in 20 years in Total Viewers (since 1Q93 and 1Q94) and in 21 years in Adults 25-54 (since 1Q92 and 1Q93).

"GMA" outperformed NBC's "Today" (5.369 million and 2.210 million) during 1Q14 by +539,000 Total Viewers and +129,000 Adults 25-54, beating the NBC program by its largest news demo advantage during any quarter in nearly 20 years - since 2Q94. In addition, "GMA's" demo victory stands as its first-ever win over "Today" when NBC had the Olympics - since at least 1991, the start of the Nielsen database.*

"GMA" improved over both the previous quarter (5.692 million and 2.148 million for 4Q13) and the year-ago quarter (5.390 million and 2.027 million for 1Q13) in Total Viewers (+4% and +10%, respectively) and Adults 25-54 (+9% and +15%, respectively), representing "GMA's" most-watched quarter in more than 22 years and strongest news demo performance in 8 years in Adults 25-54 - since before 4Q91 (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991) and 1Q06, respectively. Further, "GMA" has posted year-ago quarter increases for the last 15 quarters in Total Viewers and the last 12 in Adults 25-54.

"GMA" beat CBS' "Early Show" during 1Q14 by its largest Total Viewer margin (2.760 million) in over 22 years and biggest Adults 25-54 advantage (1.279 million) in nearly 9 years - since before 4Q91 and 2Q05, respectively.

Week of March 24, 2014 :

"Good Morning America" finished as the No. 1 morning program in Total Viewers (5.771 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.267 million) for the week of March 24, 2014, according to Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" beat NBC's "Today" (5.283 million and 2.180 million, respectively) during the week by 488,000 Total Viewers and by 87,000 Adults 25-54. Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached almost 21 million users last month.

"GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in 87 of the last 91 weeks (since w/o 6/25/12), finishing behind "Today" only during the 2 weeks of the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2 weeks of the 2014 Winter Olympics. In Adults 25-54, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in 23 of the 27 weeks of the season, pacing ahead of the No. 1 finishes at the same point of the 2012-13 Season (21 of 26 weeks*).

"GMA" improved year to year (5.159 million, 1.837 million and 1.327 million, respectively, on w/o 3/25/13) by double digits across all key target demos: Total Viewers (+12%) , Adults 25-54 (+23%) and Adults 18-49 (+20%). In fact, the ABC morning newscast has seen gains in 11 of the last 13 weeks.

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program for the 2nd straight year in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading NBC's "Today" by 626,000 Total Viewers and 98,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has widened its season margins over "Today" versus the same point last season in Total Viewers by 5% (626,000 vs. 597,000) and in Adults 25-54 by 32% (98,000 vs. 74,000). Further, "GMA" is posting its largest Total Viewer season margin in more than 22 years and biggest in Adults 25-54 in 21 years - since at least the 1991-92 season (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991) and the 1992-93 season, respectively.

Growing for the 3rd year in a row, "GMA" is up by double-digits over the same point last season in both Total Viewers (+11%) and Adults 25-54 (+13%). In fact, "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in more than 22 years and best Adults 25-54 performance in 8 years - since before the 1991-92 season and the 2005-06 seasons, respectively. "GMA" is also up the most in Adults 25-54 compared to "CBS This Morning" (+1%) and NBC's "Today" (+12%)

During the week, "GMA" nearly doubled the performance of "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+90%), while more than doubling in Adults 25-54 (+122%) and Adults 18-49 (+119%) .
