The captain of the U.S. women's hockey team threw the first pitch out at the Yankees/Red Sox game Thursday night, and threw a little shade at the same time.

Meghan Duggan, who led the hockey team during their 2014 Olympic bid in Sochi, wiped her neck for imaginary pine tar before throwing the first pitch, razzing Yankee pitcher Michael Pineda who was suspended earlier this week for having pine tar smeared on his neck and using it on the baseball.

Duggan's move provoked laughter and applause at the game, held at Fenway Park.
