ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" won the 2nd quarter 2014 in Adults 25-54 (826,000), according to Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" captured its first demo win during any quarter in nearly 17 years and first during a 2nd quarter in 20 years - since 3Q97 and 2Q94, respectively.

Beating NBC's "Meet the Press" in Adults 25-54 for the 4th quarter in a row, "This Week" outperformed the NBC program by its largest news demo advantage for any quarter in more nearly 21 years and biggest during a 2nd quarter in 22 years - since 3Q93 and 2Q92, respectively.

"This Week" defeated CBS' "Face the Nation" in Adults 25-54 (+45,000) first time during a quarter in nearly 3 years with its largest quarter advantage in nearly 5 years - since 3Q11 and 3Q09, respectively. Further, "This Week" led the CBS program by its largest 2nd quarter lead in 14 years - since 2Q00.

In Total Viewers, "This Week" outdelivered NBC's "Meet the Press" for the 4th consecutive quarter, leading the NBC program by its largest overall viewer advantage (+421,000) for any quarter in nearly 17 years - since 3Q97.

"This Week" posted double-digit increases from the year-ago quarter (2.447 million and 680,000, respectively on 2Q13) in both Total Viewers (+14%) and Adults 25-54 (+21%). In fact, "This Week" delivered its strongest 2nd quarter performance in 15 years in Total Viewers and in 5 years in Adults 25-54 - since 2Q99 and 2Q09, respectively. In addition, "This Week" grew the most in Total Viewers and stood as the only public affairs program to grow in Adults 25-54, as CBS' "Face the Nation" (-6%/-8%) and NBC's "Meet the Press" (-11%/-9%) were both down, while Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+3%/-9%) was mixed.

On June 29, 2014, ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" ranked No. 1 in both Total Viewers (2.643 million) and Adults 25-54 (890,000) , according to Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" led CBS' "Face the Nation" (+55,000 and +231,000, respectively) , NBC's "Meet the Press" (+94,000 and +68,000, respectively) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+1.617 million and +600,000, respectively) .

"This Week" was up week to week in both Total Viewers (+19%) and Adults 25-54 (+36%) - 2.217 million and 655,000, respectively, on 6/22/14 . The ABC public affairs program increased the most versus the previous week compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (-13%/-21%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (+9%/+16%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (-11%/-19%).

For the 9th time in the last 10 weeks, "This Week" grew from its year-ago telecast both Total Viewers (+8%) and Adults 25-54 (+46%) - 2.456 million and 608,000, respectively on 6/30/13. "This Week" saw the most year-to-year improvement versus CBS' "Face the Nation" (-4%/-15%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (+3%/+36%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+3%/-19%).

Season to date, " This Week" is up by double-digits in Total Viewers (+15%) and Adults 25-54 (+15%) versus its year-ago season averages. Growing in both measures for the 2nd year in a row, "This Week" is delivering its strongest performance in 5 years - since the 2008-09 season. In addition, "This Week" is up the most from the same point last season in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 versus CBS' "Face the Nation" (+1%/+1%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-6%/-7%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (+2%/-9%).

In addition, "This Week" leads NBC's "Meet the Press" this season in both Total Viewers (+174,000) and Adults 25-54 (+57,000), leading the NBC program by its largest Total Viewer advantage in 18 years, while beating "Meet the Press in during a season for the first time 20 years in the key adult news demo - since the 1995-96 and the 1993-94 seasons, respectively.
