ABC News' "Good Morning America" won the July 2014 Sweep across all key target demos: Total Viewers (4.949 million), Adults 25-54 (1.804 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.308 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research . The July 2014 win represents "GMA's" 9th consecutive sweep victory in Total Viewers and its 7th win of 8 sweeps in Adults 25-54 ("GMA" finished behind a Winter Olympics-fueled "Today" during the 2014 February sweep) . Further, "GMA" scored its first sweeps win in nearly 2 years and first July win in Adults 18-49 in more than 22 years - since November 2012 and at least July 1992 (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991), respectively.

"GMA" outdelivered the No. 2-ranked NBC's "Today" (4.143 million, 1.554 million and 1.232 million) by its widest July sweep margins in more than 22 years in all three measures: Total Viewers (806,000), Adults 25-54 (250,000) and Adults 18-49 (76,000). In fact, it was "GMA's" largest advantages over "Today" in both key adult demos during any sweep in more than 20 years - since May 1994.

"GMA" was up over the July 2013 sweep in both Adults 25-54 (+1% - 1.804 million vs. 1.794 million) and Adults 18-49 (+8% - 1.308 million vs. 1.216 million) . Impressively, the ABC morning newscast has turned in year-ago sweep increases in both adult demos in all four sweeps periods of the 2013-14 season. In addition, "GMA" saw its best July in Adults 25-54 in 8 years and in 6 years in Adults 18-49 - since July 2006 and July 2008, respectively. Further, "GMA" was the only morning program to grow in the adult demos as both "CBS This Morning" (-11%/-15%) and NBC's "Today" (-10%/-9%) delivered losses.

"GMA" beat CBS' "This Morning" during the month by 78% in Total Viewers, while more than doubling in Adults 25-54 (+122%) and Adults 18-49 (+137%). In fact, "GMA" led the CBS program by its largest July advantages in 8 years in both Adults 25-54 (+990,000) and Adults 18-49 (+757,000) - since July 2006.

Week of July 28, 2014

"Good Morning America" finished as the morning's No. 1 newscasts in all key target demos: Total Viewers (5.059 million), Adults 25-54 (1.809 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.346 million) for the week of July 28, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" outperformed "Today" (4.254 million, 1.594 million and 1.247 million, respectively) during the week by 805,000 Total Viewers, by 215,000 Adults 25-54 and 99,000 Adults 18-49. Further, "GMA" widened its Total Viewer (+13%) and Adults 25-54 (+55%) leads over "Today" versus its year-ago leads (+711,000 and +139,000, respectively, on w/ 7/29/13). Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached over 19 million users last month.

"GMA" has won in overall viewers and the key adult news demo every week since the end of the 2014 Winter Olympics 23 weeks ago. Overall, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in 105 of the last 109 weeks (since w/o 6/25/12), finishing behind "Today" only during the two weeks of the 2012 Summer Olympics and the two weeks of the 2014 Winter Olympics. In Adults 25-54, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in 41 of the 45 weeks of the season, pacing ahead of the No. 1 finishes at the same point of the 2012-13 Season (36 of 44 weeks*). In Adults 18-49, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in 11 of the last 15 weeks.

"GMA" was up in Adults 18-49 both week-to-week (+1%; vs. 1.334 million on w/o 7/21/14) and year-to-year (+8%; vs. 1.252 million on w/o 7/29/13). The ABC morning newscast posted its best Adults 18-49 performance in 7 weeks - since w/o 6/9/14.

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program for the 2nd-straight year in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading NBC's "Today" by 690,000 Total Viewers and 140,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has widened its season margins over "Today" versus the same point last season in Total Viewers by 6% (690,000 vs. 651,000) and has nearly doubled its Adults 25-54 season lead by 89% (140,000 vs. 74,000). Further, "GMA" now leads "Today" by its largest Adults 25-54 season advantage to-date.

"GMA" is posting its largest Total Viewer season margin in more than 22 years and biggest in Adults 25-54 in 22 years over "Today" - since at least the 1991-92 season (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991) and the 1991-92 season, respectively.

Growing in both measures for the 4th season in a row, "GMA" is up over the same point last season in both Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (+9%). In fact, "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in more than 22 years and best Adults 25-54 performance in 8 years - since before the 1991-92 season and the 2005-06 seasons, respectively. "GMA" is also up the most in Adults 25-54 compared to "CBS This Morning" (-3%) and NBC's "Today" (+6%).

During the week, "GMA" towered over "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+85%) , Adults 25-54 (+115%) and Adults 18-49 (+135%) .
