ABC News' "Good Morning America" stood as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (5.366 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.953 million) for the week of September 1, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led the No. 2-ranked "Today" (4.628 million, and 1.818 million, respectively) during the week by 738,000 Total Viewers and by 135,000 Adults 25-54. For the 4th straight week, "GMA" increased its news demo lead over "Today" compared to its year-ago week lead (+14% - 135,000 vs. 118,000 on w/o 9/2/13) . Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached over 17 million users last month.

"GMA" has won in overall viewers and the key adult news demo every week since the end of the 2014 Winter Olympics 28 weeks ago. Overall, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in 110 of the last 114 weeks (since w/o 6/25/12), finishing behind "Today" only during the two weeks of the 2012 Summer Olympics and the two weeks of the 2014 Winter Olympics. In Adults 25-54, "GMA" has ranked No. 1 in 46 of the 50 weeks of the season, pacing ahead of the No. 1 finishes at the same point of the 2012-13 Season (41 of 49 weeks*).

Growing for the 2nd week in a row (5.065 million, 1.932 million and 1.339 million, respectively, on w/o 8/25/14) across all key target demos: Total Viewers (+6%) , Adults 25-54 (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%), "GMA" saw its best Total Viewer and Adults 18-49 numbers since June and strongest news demo performance since May - since w/o 6/2/14 and w/o 5/26/14, respectively.

"GMA" posted year-to-year increases (5.315 million and 1.375 million, respectively, on w/o 9/2/13) in Total Viewers (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+2%).

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning news program for the 2nd straight year in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading NBC's "Today" 688,000 Total Viewers and 146,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has widened its season margins over "Today" versus the same point last season in Total Viewers by 2% (688,000 vs. 675,000) and by a significant 68% in Adults 25-54 (146,000 vs. 87,000). Further, "GMA" now leads "Today" by its largest Adults 25-54 season advantage to-date.

"GMA" is posting its largest season margins over "Today" in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54 in more than 22 years - since at least the 1991-92 season (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991).

Growing in both measures for the 4th season in a row, "GMA" is up over the same point last season in both Total Viewers (+5%) and Adults 25-54 (+8%). In fact, "GMA" is seeing its largest overall season audience in more than 22 years and best Adults 25-54 performance in 8 years - since before the 1991-92 season and the 2005-06 seasons, respectively. "GMA" is also up the most in Adults 25-54 compared to "CBS This Morning" (-3%) and NBC's "Today" (+5%).

During the week, "GMA" defeated "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+82%) , Adults 25-54 (+117%) and Adults 18-49 (+147%) .
