First Time in its New Time Period "Nightline" Wins All Key Target Demos

"Nightline" is #1 for the Week in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

"Nightline" Ranks #1 in Total Viewers 14 of Last 15 Weeks

"Nightline" Surges by Double Digits Week to Week and Year to Year in All Three Measures

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 across all key target demos: Total Viewers (1.782 million), Adults 25-54 (744,000) and Adults 18-49 (552,000) for the week of January 26, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" has taken the top spot in Total Viewers for the last 6 weeks and in 14 of the last 15 weeks. Further, "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in all three measures for the first time in its new time period.

"Nightline" surged by double-digits week to week (1.492 million, 576,000 and 455,000, respectively on w/o 1/19/15) in Total Viewers (+19%) , Adults 25-54 (+29%) and Adults 18-49 (+21%), hitting 2-month highs in all three measures - since w/o 11/24/14.

"Nightline" also increased by double-digits year to year (1.522 million, 671,000 and 480,000, respectively on w/o 1/27/14) in Total Viewers (+17%) , Adults 25-54 (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+15%) .

"Nightline" owned the No. 1 telecast of the week with its Thursday airing (1/29/15) in Total Viewers (2.111 million) , Adults 25-54 (924,000) and Adults 18-49 (754,000) , leading every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

Season to date, ABC News' "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.692 million) , outdelivering CBS' average of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"/"The Late Late Show"/"The Talk - After Dark" (+275,000) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (+156,000) .

Regis Philbin was the guest host for CBS' "The Late Late Show" on Mon-Tue, Whitney Cummings was guest host on Wed-Thurs and Adam Pally was guest host on Friday.

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Dan Harris, Juju Chang and Byron Pitts. Roxanna Sherwood is executive producer, and Steven Baker is Senior Broadcast Producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
