"This Week" is Outdelivering NBC's "Meet the Press" by Largest Total Viewer Margin During a Season in 18 Years and Largest Demo Margin in 21 Years

ABC News' "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" stood as Sunday's No. 1 public affairs program for the 3rd consecutive week in Adults 25-54 (904,000) on February 8, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" beat NBC's "Meet the Press" by 50,000 Adults 25-54 and CBS' "Face the Nation" by 14,000 Adults 25-54.

For the 3rd straight week, "This Week" improved on the year-ago Sunday in Adults 25-54 (+5% - 904,000 vs. 857,000 on 2/9/14) . In fact, "This Week" was the only public affairs program to grow year to year in the key adult news demo as CBS' "Face the Nation" (-19%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-33%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (-4%) all turned in losses.

Growing for the 3rd season in a row, " This Week" is up in Adults 25-54 (+6% - 879,000 vs. 832,000) season to date versus the same point last season to its strongest news demo performance in 6 years - since the 2008-09 season. Competitively, "This Week" is outdelivering NBC's "Meet the Press" by its largest margins during a season in 18 years in Total Viewers (+66,000) and in 21 years in Adults 25-54 (+83,000) - since the 1996-97 and the 1993-94 seasons, respectively.
