nuclear power produces tons of radioactive waste which remains active for thousands of years. The containers we have now wont even hold it safely for that long. All these people in power will all the money just care about their money and how to make more. I mean look at GMO’s how was it that that was allowed to take place. Big business & bankers buys the government. The vast majority of people have no idea and the media is controlled too. WAKE UP EARTH!!!! We allow the use of things that kills us why do you think cancer rates are so high now way more than ever in history. My god I could go on and on

Of course we don’t! But I expect we will see people dying left and right all over the West Coast from CANCER caused by that radiation exposure. No level of radiation is safe. Any increase over the background radiation (and how much of THAT are humans responsible for?), will result in an increase of cancer risks, which translates into people dying. It’s not an immediate effect, but that doesn’t make it less dangerous.

There is NO safe level of radiation ingested internally. Comparing to x-rays is like comparing apples and oranges, totally different effects.

There is no safe dose of radiation.It is not a question any more: radiation produces cancer, and the evidence is good all the way down to the lowest doses.

The level of radiation is low. However the cellular radiation caused by ionizing radiation from all sources is cumulative.

In other words, add: background radiation + radiation from fish + dental X-rays + CAT scans etc

Scientists should also test for: xenon, plutonium, uranium, radioactive sulphur, cobalt 60, strontium 90 etc. The total radiation exposure from the many different isotopes may be quite astounding.

In case anyone missed the article, the amount of radiation in the fish is only a tiny fraction compared to what’s already there, which is itself insignificant. You get more radiation from eating a normal banana than you do from eating one of these “deadly radioactive fish”. Man up, kids.
