That's typically how it's done, by jacking up prices to paying and/or insured patients, which results in higher insurance costs. Universal, single-payer coverage would be FAR cheaper and more efficient than our current for-profit system. "Obamacare" is a huge step in the right direction, but not the ideal. Gotta pass on the cost of all the unisured SOMEHOW.
