There is so much confusion as in the comments above and as Obama Care approaches Michelle Katz will be an essential part of ABC programming. Looking forward to seeing Michelle’s next segment and does she have her own show? I know a lot of people that would love to see her content and interact with her. The informaiton she has is invaluable and comprehensible to the publice. She is very relatable.

You can just let it go to collections and it will go against your credit.
They aren’t allowed to come after your possessions or take you to court because they are non profit, pay zero in taxes and get millions a yr in subsidies from the govt to help people who don’t have insurance. so it will just go against your credit report.
I believe I am correct , but not positive, so hopefully someone else will confirm this.

I don’t have access to a home computer to join the Twitter exchange tonight, but I have a question about how to find a reputable advocate to help me with my medical bills. I applied for financial assistance with my clinic/surgeon and they granted me a 75% reduction on my bill. I also applied for assistance with the hospital and was told that I was not eligible and needed to pay $51 per month or the account goes to collections. I questioned it and was told that they “look at everything”. Both entities got the same information, but came to greatly different conclusions. I do not have that much money monthly. I need to find help to put together an appeal. Please give some guidance to find help in St Paul, MN. Thank you.
