University of Florida medical staff allowed quarterback Tim Tebow to return to football practice yesterday after he sustained a concussion during UF’s 41-7 win over the University of Kentucky on Sept. 26. (Click HERE to read more about Tebow's injury.)
UF coach Urban Meyer said after practice Tuesday that Tebow can practice in “a limited and controlled environment” but has not yet been cleared to play. The AP reported that “Tebow was in full pads, wearing a red non-contact jersey, taking snaps with the first-team offense and throwing passes.”
No. 1 Florida will play No. 4 Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge on Saturday at 8 p.m.
