When it comes to fitness, most people try to make huge changes all at once. We try to radically alter our diets, our workout programs and even try to cut out a bunch of vices all at the same time. It never works. Start slowly.
Focus on one element, like just getting in your workouts. Don’t change the diet right away. As you establish good exercise habits over time, then you can gradually begin to attack the diet side. But never all at once. The small victories will make each successive change that much easier.
