50 Years of ‘Mastering the Art of French Cooking’

This week we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of Julia Child’s “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” Child, the food icon responsible for bringing classic French food into our homes with her cookbook, is one of the best-known names in food. She is loved and respected around the world for her work, and many chefs credit her for inspiring them to pursue cooking.

A frequent face on “Good Morning America,” Child was adored by news anchors and audiences alike. Watching the video below, you can see how much everyone loved and appreciated her accomplishments.
