Jim, if we read an article about how he “died while doing what he loved”–at least he won’t die from heart attack in front of the TV chocking on own fat and bag of chips, like someone you see in the mirror. Those who “live” like that, couch potatoes, are already dead.

Wat? Park was supposed to endorse it, “workingclass”? Are they supposed to also endorse when you take a poo in the toiled, so that you don’t fall down and stay safe? KEEP YOUR NANNY STATE AWAY FROM US. You want nanny state? GO LIVE IN CHINA. This is America, a free country, we can do what we want in the National Park. Some fat loser typing on the computer… “endorse”.

“Did the Park Service actually endorse this? Or was it a rogue move to hang a tightrope and do it? I’d hate to think our taxpayer dollars paid for this foolishness in any way. You might want to answer that question somewhere in your article….” Our tax dollars pay for congressmen to go to work every day, how is this any more foolish?

Workingclass – the second to the last paragraph says this is something the park neither regulates nor requires permits for. Sounds like if you do it, you’re on your own. I can’t imagine doing something like this. Is this guy a thrill-seeker, or death wisher?

And of course, the taxpayers have to foot the bill when jerks like this get into trouble. And worse, even if the Park Service tries to bill them, they leave the country.
