How much do you love your dog?  Leona Helmsley famously left $12 million of her fortune to her dog, Trouble, in her will.  In an interview with Nate Berkus, Oprah Winfrey said that if her house were on fire, the first thing she'd grab would be photos of her dogs.  Now there is a new way to honor man's best friend; with a cake.

Cake Doggy Dog's Eddie and Rich LeBeau, two artists based in London, will create a sculpted cake to resemble your pooch.  The idea came to the pair after making a bulldog birthday cake for a friend a few years ago.

The cakes are lifelike and fun, but they also are entirely edible.  Each cake is made with several layers of sponge cake, which is then carved.  After they are decorated with intricate layers of fondant, the cakes are airbrushed and painted.  Each dog takes upward of 12 to 15 hours to build.

Although the cakes are not prepared for canine consumption, they are tasty.  Indeed, Eddie claims "that [they] are as stimulating to the eye as they are to the taste buds."
