Food trucks are all the rage and the Girl Scouts have jumped on the bandwagon. In honor of National Girl Scout Cookie Day, the Girl Scouts are selling their popular cookies out of a truck in New York City.

Sweetery NYC partnered with the organization to help distribute the cookies and the truck has four stops planned for the day, weather permitting.

The truck started at 42nd and Madison Ave at 8:30 a.m. and will finish at 71st and Amsterdam Ave at 7:30 p.m. Six of the 10 cookies: Thin Mints, Savannah Smiles, Trefoils, Samoas, Tagalongs and Do-si-dos will all be available.

The $790 million cookie program focuses on teaching girls five main lessons: goal setting, decision making, money management, business ethics and people skills.

The Girl Scouts promoted their national cookie holiday yesterday, visiting the NASDAQ Marketsite in Times Square.
