Avec or sans ‘stache?
EmailSome liberal blogs – DEPENDABLE RENEGADE, to be specific — are pointing out some interesting photoshopping in this brand new RNC ad, which they say they screen-grabbed.
Do you see how DNC chairman Howard dean has an unusual moustache , perhaps making him resemble a certain Fuhrer?
Interestingly, that shading does not appear in the original photograph (from the January 19, 2004, "Dean scream" Iowa speech)
And no, the moustache does not appear when you shrink the image:
But not to worry — the RNC has a new version of the ad up, one without the interesting fascist shading.
RNC spokesman Brian Jones says this was an innocent mistake, that the internet guys grabbed a photograph of Dean without knowing it had been doctored, and once this issue was pointed out to them the photo was immediately replaced with the un-doctored one….

Welcome to the brave, new world of Photoshop and the ability to manipulate images ever-so-slightly without the tell-tale artifacts present in manipulated film photographs. At least the RNC decided to use a clearer photograph of Howard Dean without too much coercion.

I seem to recall that the republicans are the ones who were totally caught off guard by these “terrorists”, that, somehow these “terrorists” managed to outsmart the republican party, the military, the fbi, the cia, the secret service, and the missle defense batteries that not only ring the Pentagon, but the WhiteHouse as well. Remember those fateful words of our exaulted leader, “Not on MY watch”? Well, it looks like it did happen on his watch, didnt it? Remember Prescott Bush, Our leaders Great grandfather, you know, the one with the Nazi ties from WWII? This is in the history books, people, read about it, then think. Prescott Bush was proven to be backed by the Nazi’s during WWII, and made His fortune there, so dont tell us that the Bush family is all lily white in the 911 attack. They were either incompitent, or complicit in the attack. I leave it up to you to decide. Now, about the “black Box” voting machines. Did you know that they can be “turned over”? That means that the winner and looser can be exchanged with the right codes sent through the radio link. That is why the source code is not made public. Remember, Bush wasnt elected, but selected by a court, who had republican ties. Bush is Kerry’s cousin, which is why there was no chance of him loosing, and why Kerry didnt try harder. Hillery Clinton has been seen in the company of republican party officials a lot these past two years, and is a republican party schill, working with them in all of the republican party’s agenda. So, she isnt really a democratic party choice either. As for Arnold Schwartzenegger, He is Austrian, and had parents who were in the Nazi party as well. Check his geneology, and you will see the family name listed with the Nazi party during WWII as well. It’s time for the public to take back our country from the greedy grasp of Corporate America, and such companies as Lockheed Martin, the governments largest contractor, and weapons maker. There were never any wmd’s found in Iraq, but, there we are, killing people like mad, and sending our children to die in a country that posed no threat to America, had no ties to Al-Queida, and no wmd’s. Then, why are we there? Remember, it was the republican party that wanted to make it legal for a foreign born citizen to run for office, and become president. Do you want a foreigner to run YOUR country? I sure dont. There are too many back room meetings in our government, including those in the current administration selling Enron stock
