Query

Question while stuck in New Haven traffic…

Of the Connecticut Democrats mad at Lieberman for announcing he may run as an independent…thinking him disloyal to the party…how many voted for Ralph Nader for President?

Just asking….

I’m not a registered Democrat and cannot vote in todays election, but in general elections, I’ve always voted for Joe Lieberman and will again. His personal and political ethics are the highest I’ve ever seen in a politician. He’s a VERY good man and I know his votes in the Senate are done with consideration for all sides of any issue. We cannot afford to let such a decent man go and I wouldn’t vote against him for anything–certainly not for Ned LaMont.

The French expression for the kind of question you asked is “La bonne question!” which roughly translates as “Good question, but you probably won’t like the answer!”

Did Nader run first as a Democrat and then change to an independent against the Democratic primary winner after Democratic voters rejected his primary bid? Or did Nader have the confidence to run as an independent from the beginning?
Just asking…

While everyone was whining about military absentee ballots and hanging chads in FL, I was upset with the 90K Nader voters there…So folks, how’s it workin’ for you?
