It’s no fun

So tonight on World News with Charles Gibson — our spot on the hot-button topic of illegal immigration, as seen through the prism of the Arizona 8th congressional district race.

The race pits a conservative — former golf pro and state legislation Randy Graf, whom the national GOP worked to defeat in the primary — against a Democrat positioning herself as a centrist, state senator Gabrielle Giffords.

In a sign of how divided the GOP is on this issue, Giffords supports the immigration reform bill offered by Sen. John McCain, R-Az., (and supported by President Bush) while Graf thinks that bill — plus the more conservative version offered by Sen. John Kyl, R-Az. — are too lenient….

Retiring Rep. Jim Kolbe, a moderate Republican, introduced the House version of the McCain bill and has refused to endorse Graf.

Not only did we travel to the population center of the district for this spot — Tucson — we made the trek 110 miles South to the Arizona/Mexico border, where we saw U.S. Border Patrol agents track a van on the Mexican side that they suspected was full of potential illegal immigrants. Spoke to many interesting people, including local Minutemen, a Latino leader, and other Arizonans….

Today the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has been trying to make hay out of the fact that Graf is lauded on the website of former Klansman/Neo-Nazi David Duke (SEE IT HERE; please expect offensive, idiotic and asinine content if you click over).

DCCC officials say that after they made this link (which Graf has repudiated) public, their Republican counterparts pulled money from TV ad buys they were going to run on Graf’s behalf in the district; Republicans say they won’t discuss campaign strategy….

More later on that….

To tide you over in the meantime, here’s a VIDEO ON WHY CATS LAND ON THEIR FEET from National Geographic.

later –

Our ex President used an old Jehovah Wittness
trick. Get angrey and try to leave. In this case
he stated things that are rearrainged. Children some times do that. They restate things that have
nothing to do with the truth.
Mr. Clinton could have responded to the trade center bombing in 1993 instead he treated it as a civil action. The rest is history. Thank God
for President Bush.

You conflate many arguments. President Clinton spoke of neo-cons criticizing his actions, not Newt Gingrich or any other members of the Republican leadership. You also confuse the “vast righ-wing conspiracy”. You seem to think you can apply this to anything ‘Clinton,’ such as, Clinton: “Some people didn’t like NAFTA,” blogger: “where’s the vast right-wing conspiracy? I can find a couple Republicans who agreed with Clinton.” Thanks for practicing crap journalism – or maybe you’re just a ‘blogger’ and accuracy doens’t matter.

I believe the former president Bill Clinton is the pot calling the kettle black. Bill and Hilary both cannot manage the presidents affairs let alone manage or lead a country. It would be best if Hilary and BillyBob just went back home and stuck to planting flowers. I believe Chris Wallace plowed close to his corn and BillyBob didnt like it.
