Bush Says North Korean Nuke Test “serves only to raise tensions”

ABC’s Catrin Jones reports: In his first remarks since North Korea’s Sunday night announcement that it had detonated its first nuclear test, President Bush said the North Korean claim "serves only to raise tensions."

The President said he has spoken with the leaders of China, South Korea, Russia and Japan, and that they were all in agreement that North Korea’s actions "are unacceptable and deserve an immediate response."

President Bush indicated that the United States is still working to confirm North Korea’s claim. But he said that "such a claim itself constitutes a threat to international peace and security."

Considering thatin 2002 Bush gave North Korea $92 MILLION American in spite of a framework agreement that would have required nuclear (“noo-klee-are”, say it with me) inspections, (and over the objections of Democrats) Bush has a lotta gall telling people he has made the US safer!

That Bush dude has a lotta gall just getting out of bed in the morning. We’d all be better off if he’d just stayed down at the ranch and cut down a few more acres of brush.
