Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The Republicans have had 12 years of control in Congress and 6 in the Presidency and what has happened? Corruption has run rampant. If they aren’t personally corrupt, they’re covering for their corrupt buddies. We have gone from a budget SURPLUS with a Democratic President to an insurrmountable deficit. The rich get richer, the rest of us take it in the shorts. I won’t be voting for a single Republican this election. I’ve had enough.

I think the new tax laws saved me $271 dollars; Less than 7 tanks of gas. The riches tax payers got enough to buy a BMW. you do the math!

i cant wait for november, just to laugh, and laugh and laugh, then clean house in congress with new rules, proceedures, and the rubber stamp bush has had will be over and if luck serves america right, we will get a veto proof majority (super majority) and then controll the white house two years early and get rid of this bum’s power too!!!!!!!!!!!!! please hurry up november and quiet these blind sheep.

The only problem I see with the upcoming elections is the Diebold machines we use in FL. Most other States have corrected their problems, yet we still have not. If Ken Blackwell wins in Ohio, that State will end up Republican no matter what the votes tally up to. Florida hasn’t even addressed the issue! THere is no paper trail, and it is impossible to know if hackers get into the system. We had a very rocky primary and doubt the actual election will go much better. So I am no longer confident standing in line for my constitutional right to VOTE!

CHARLIE CRIST IS GAY!!!! What I don’t get is how the Republicans can be so stupid as to allow another gay candidate to run for a state wide race in Florida. Hello people, CHARLIE CRIST IS GAY! Now I have no problem with the man being gay, but let’s face it, the Republicans have proven that they are not so welcoming to gays under their “big tent”.

Vote for Republicans because “at least they will not attack my freedoms and raise my taxes”????
Republicans have nullified the Constitution (suspension of habeas corpus is no small matter, warrantless invasions are no small matter, nullifying Congress by accepting laws in terms only of Mr. Bush’s interpretations, and overturning the essential principles of rule of law is no small matter).
Taxes???? Who authorized expenditure of over 300 billion dollars, with a continuing blank check, for a war of choice serving only the political interests of the administration? Who defined “tax relief” as reduction in taxes only for the wealthiest 2%?
Republicans have already carried out a devastating attack on our freedom, and their disastrous misadventures tax us not only in vast amounts of money, but in unimaginable costs in human lives, with a promise to send more to their deaths because others have lost their life to this monstrous regime.

Nullifying the Constitution, nullifying the Congress, and nullifying the rule of law is the most radical attack on our freedom ever attempted in our political history.
