Foley’s Atty Says Client was Molested by Clergyman
ABC’s Luis Martinez reports: At a news briefing in Florida, Mark Foley’s attorney David Roth claimed that Foley was molested by a clergyman between ages 13 and 15. Roth did not disclose the identity of the clergyman or if the individual is still alive. When asked about Foley’s enrollment into rehab, Roth said that Foley is not blaming his problems on his alcohol addiction. He also firmly asserts that his client never had sexual contact with any minor.

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
Well, I’d hardly call this news a bombshell.
I have to wonder what Foley and his attorney are thinking that this revelation brings to the issue. Are we supposed to say, “Oh, well, that’s OK then. Poor, poor, Mark Foley.”
I want to hear what he said to and what was said to him by the Republican House Leadership. Did he or they make any deals, etc., etc.
Frankly, I think he’s in rehab simply because he doesn’t want to face the public, not because he’s a “supposed” alcoholic.
Quit hemming and hawing and tell the truth. Is it that hard for Republicans to do?

It might be important to compare the Foley/Hastert problem with the Lawrence King/Omaha Nebraska scandal of the 80′s and early 90′s. This was when the Boy Town kids were used as pedophile subjects for entertaining big Republicans in the Omaha area.
The cover-up was what was stunning. The FBI refused to investigate; the local prosecutor refused to charge anyone but King. None of the prominent “Johns” were ever called.
Google “Conspiracy of Silence” and watch it. It’s disgusting, and they were all Republicans.

So? What’s the next excuse abducted by aliens or past life experiences? Give the American people a little credit, how dumb do you think they are? Oh wait, they elected G.W. Bush TWICE.
