Goodbye, Columbus
Back in D.C. now after my momentary sojourn to the Buckeye state to hear what real life voters — Larry, Diana, Kenny, Lily, and Kate — think of things. Ohio’s got a big gubernatorial race, a key Senate race, and many competitive House races, so that place is, once again, key.
HERE’S THE FREE VIDEO OF OUR TRIP TO TOMMY’S DINER from this morning’s Good Morning America. I’ll be heading back to Ohio in a few days for more election reporting…
Which Ohio voter do you identify with?

CPAC: Romney Struggles to Convince Voters
Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
Obviously a crack at President Bush and a disastrous policy decision to get us into Iraq in the first place with no follow through plan at all. Nonetheless, an experienced politician should have known that at this stage of the campaign any comment that could be so misinterpreted was a potential landmine for the democrats.

This is a message to “Kerry”, I can’t even call him Mr. or Senator just “Dumb Kerry”. This is the reason why.
My Father was killed in the army in WW11, Son was injured in the Golf lost the use of his leg below the knee as a re-con Marine, my husband served in Viet Nam in SAC, my son-in-law Paul McMurtrie, is a Master diver in the Navy, and was the Master Diver who was in charge of the recovery the bodies from flight 800 for which he recieved the Meritorious Medial of Honor, and was just on CNN, My Grandfather served in WW1.
With all this being said “Kerry” which one of these people do you think was the “dumbest”? I do believe that serving your country is the greatest honor you can perform.
By the way I do thank you “Kerry” you just gave the Republican Party a gift. Now who is “Dumb” THANK YOU!

Yes Kerry is an idiot!
I am a very staunch demi and this was not great for the party, but every one forgets why we did not vote kerry in. Kerry does not represent the party that the demis are looking for. Kerry should apologize to all the service men and women in the armed forces and beg for forgiveness to all the fallen soldiers families. But we forget the big picture it is President Bush who has disgraced our great nation with all of his lies and deceptions, this had been a President that pulled as many low punches that any President in our countries history has pulled, without the backing of the people.
The repulican party would have tried to impeach the or to given a public hanging for all the world to see if the shoe had been on the other foot. Why is it ok to chastise a President for getting caught having an affair(which should have been a personal situation between husband and wife)but ok to lie about the reasons for going to war! The republicans will use this because they have no other strings to pull. Yes this was a disgraceful comment but child abuse, a falling economy, raising gas prices to add to their own pockets, and our men and women being killed for a cause that I feel was not our business in the first place are the real reasons for this election!
Thank You Mr. Kerry for posssibly taking the heat off of the party that needs to be replaced

KERRY DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING AGAINST OUR TROOPS IN IRAQ. THIS IS JUST MORE OF BUSHIE AND HIS GOP COHORTS MAKING SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING AND TRYING TO GET OUR MINDS OFF IRAQ AND HIS OTHER BIG MISTAKES, SUCH AS SUPPLYING THE BOMBS TO ISRAEL TO DROP ON LEHANON…………….
