Under the President’s Christmas Tree

ABC News’ Jessica Yellin Reports: The White House finally revealed the much-anticipated holiday news we’ve all been waiting for — what the Bush family got one another for Christmas:

POTUS gave FLOTUS citrine earrings to match the citrine necklace he gave her on her birthday. (Note:  Citrine is FLOTUS’ birthstone. The necklace he gave her back in November  was a triple strand amber-citrine necklace.)

FLOTUS gave POTUS a new blue suit, biking shoes, and the new Sam Moore CD, Overnight Sensational. (Music websites describe Sam Moore as "a legendary soul singer." He’s a rhythm and blues singer best known for his work as part of a duo called Sam and Dave. He also recorded the hit Soul Man with Lou Reed for the Belushi/Ackroyd movie. Overnight Sensational is Sam Moore’s first solo album in 35 years. It features duets with Wynonna, Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Bon Jovi, and Fantasia among others. This is arguably an improvement for POTUS who listens to My Sharona while biking.)

The family also draws names as couples for gift exchange. POTUS 43 and the First Lady drew POTUS 41 and former First Lady Barbara Bush, and made a donation in their name. They gave mosquito bed nets to Malarianomore.org.

No word on what the First Couple got the FDOTUS’. (Extra credit if you know what FDOTUS stands for.)
