Globe says Kerry Not Running ’08

The Boston Globe is reporting that Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) will not seek his party’s nomination for president in 2008.

Instead, the Globe’s Rick Klein quotes Democratic officials who say Kerry will seek reelection in the Senate next year.

Kerry is planning to make this announcement on the Senate floor this afternoon, the Globe reports, and will send an email message to supporters.
