It is interesting to read the above comments over a year later. Petraus is doing well (definitely not more of the “samo samo”), the terrorists are way down (but not out, having to morph again and use what they can), Iran continues to be a real PITA, etc.
I wonder how many of the previous posters who see only evil in Bush are willing to admit that they were wrong. Very few.
