Romney Raises Campaign Cash
ABC News’ David Chalian Reports: The Romney campaign released the final fundraising tallies of the made-for-press-coverage "National Call Day" efforts on display in Boston today.
The Republican presidential hopeful’s top money men and women dialed for dollars all day long and brought in $6.5 million by making approximately 15,000 telephone calls.
"This is a message," said Gov. Romney (R-Mass.), "that what we stand for and what we are going to fight for has been heard, and gives us motivation to go forward with our message."
"I am overwhelmed by this support, heartened by the friendship, and hopeful for the future. I can only say thank you," said Governor Romney.
