Gen. Pace on Iraq Strategy: ‘Plan B’ is to Make ‘Plan A’ Work
ABC News’ Teddy Davis Reports: Gen. Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visited with the nation’s governors at the White House Monday, on the same day that the governors heard from President Bush.
The general took questions from the governors on Iraq policy, and according to Gov. Phil Bredesen, D-Tenn., when asked what constituted the administration’s "Plan B" for Iraq, Pace’s response was that "Plan B" is to make "Plan A" work.
Bredesen made his comments at a press conference of the National Governors Association at the J.W. Marriott in Washington, following their meeting with President Bush.
