Gingrich Compares ’08 Race to Bad Reality Reruns
EmailABC News’ Lindsay Hamilton reports: Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, R-Ga., predicted the very long and very crowded ’08 campaign will be like bad reality TV.
Gingrich, who says he will not make a decision about running until after Labor Day, told Fox News’ Chris Wallace, "These candidates are running for an entire year… to get sworn in in January of 2009."
"This is going to be like watching bad reruns of Survivor. People are going to say get them off the island, I don’t want to see this anymore. You watch, mark my word."

Gingrich has a good memory, as those most likely to vote do. I have always respected his honest sizing up of a situation. Rock on.

You can say what ever you want to say about Newt Gingrich, but the man can talk. Put him in a debate on national television against Hillary Clinton and he will eat Hillary for lunch. However, the media will still end up portraying Hillary as the victor as well as a victim of Newt Gingrich. Hillary can do no wrong in the Eye’s of the media.

In response to the reader comparing Newt Gingrich to Hillary Clinton surely must be talking about a different Gingrich than we knew from being in his Congressional district. While Newt talks a lot and offers varying opinions, all ideologic and lacking in substance, he is out of mainstream America and is presiding over a long period of which the Conservative Republicans will become increasing irrelevant as a major political force in American politics. Increasingly Americans are demanding results in dealing with the critical issues facing Americans in everyday life including a declining standard of living , affordable healthcare, deficit spending, war in Iraq, jobs, trade deficit, education and on and on. America is waking up !

Newt has a good vision for this country, and I dont usually like republicans, but he makes sense. However, Obama needs two terms to fix what Bush broke.

The republican candidates are all courting the Jewish vote. They’re wasting their time. Jews here in America and Israel know that the republicans put the interests of their friends in the oil producing countries ahead of the interests of Israel.
They don’t forget it was the Reagan administration that condemned Israel in the UN when they bombed Saddam Hussein’s nuclear reactor.
