Huckabee Says Republicans Should Watch Out for Clinton

ABC News’ Lindsay Hamilton Reports: On This Week with George Stephanopoulos, ’08 presidential candidate and former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark., said Republicans will be sorry if they underestimate Sen. Hillary Clinton’s, D-N.Y., candidacy. Huckabee, a former Southern Baptist preacher and social conservative, hails from the same hometown as former President Bill Clinton.

"Republicans underestimate Hillary Clinton at their own peril," Huckabee said. "She’s a brilliant woman- brilliant intellectually, and she’s brilliant politically… Hillary Clinton will be a very strong candidate across America because she knows how to win. She’s been through struggles. She has overcome many things, and she is absolutely a brilliant human being. Again, I think people underestimate her, and I think when they do, they’re going to be sorry."

Huckabee did say, however, that he thinks he could beat Clinton in his home state of Arkansas.
