Biden on Obama: “I’m not saying a word”
EmailABC’s Jake Whitman Reports: Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Joe Biden , D-DE, has apparently learned a lesson when it comes to talking about one of his rivals.
Biden appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night. Much of the appearance focused on serious issues, including the loss of Biden’s first wife and child in a car accident.
The lighter moment came when Leno asked about comments Biden made on Barack Obama on the day Biden announced his candidacy.
"You came out with that remark about Obama being articulate and clean, and you were kind of tripping over yourself there. What happened there?" Leno asked.
"Look, you can talk all you want about Obama. I’m not saying a word," Biden said.
On the opening day of his campaign, Biden was criticized after calling Obama "the first mainstream African-American (Presidential candidate) who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy." He later apologized and said he meant the description as a compliment.
At the end of last night’s interview, Leno said, "Senator, thank you for coming on. You were quite articulate."

Anyone who can’t see that in context Biden’s implication was that Obama didn’t seem to have any scandal or questionable behavior on his record, is just feeding the media misdirection that’s being fed to us and keeps the real issues out of reach from the consciousness of the voters.
The very people who need the real information in order to possibly elect some genuine leadership in this country, for a change.
