Interesting discussion of the upside of retail politics, but what about the downside of concentrating so much power in just two states. New Hampshire voters are a well-informed independent bunch, and I don’t have a problem with that state being a power center. But Iowa? I mean, they vote for whomever promises to vote against free trade and subsidize corn syrup, don’t they? Oops did I say that outloud?
