Giuliani Campaign Fixes Major Flaw On Campaign Web Site
ABC’s Jake Whitman Reports: Rudy Giuliani’s campaign raced to fix its official Web site late last night after a design flaw was discovered that could have allowed hackers to expose personal information submitted by volunteers.
The problem with JoinRudy2008.com could have exposed confidential information stored in the databases of the Republican candidate’s campaign. Apparently the Web site failed to block commands that can instruct it to improperly display sensitive information.
The Associated Press notified the Giuliani campaign about the problem. A campaign spokesperson tells the AP that no personal information was compromised. The campaign launched the new site last week.
