The worst effect of the Iraq was was that it took money and troops away from the REAL antiterror effort in Afghanistan. Now the Taliban is back, Pakistan is still funding/backing them, Saudis still support them, and the USA is bogged down in a war that has nothing to do with Al Qaeda.

How soon the Democrats forget their Viet Nam war. I will not contribute to the RNC as long as that Dip-Dip-Hagel is still in the running.

Bush should be impeached for the Iraq war. Bush had no valid reason for invading Iraq. That alone is a good enough reason to impeach.

I must quote Cheney here he called it a myth that “one can support the troops without giving them the tools and reinforcements they need to carry out their mission.” Isn’t that what this administration has done, getting us entangled when we weren’t ready to handle the violence, the lack of enough soldiers, lack of a plan, lack proper tools along with a horrendous aftercare for the wounded. Looks like Cheney walked right into that up to his neck.
