Pelosi Hits Bush over Libby Verdicts
EmailABC News’ Jake Tapper Reports: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., cast the guilty verdicts of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby Tuesday as a harsh judgment on the inner-workings of the Bush White House.
In a press statement released soon after the verdict was made public, Speaker Pelosi said, "Today’s guilty verdicts are not solely about the acts of one individual."
"This trial provided a troubling picture of the inner workings of the Bush Administration," said Pelosi. "The testimony unmistakably revealed — at the highest levels of the Bush Administration — a callous disregard in handling sensitive national security information and a disposition to smear critics of the war in Iraq."

W has played enough poker to know a bluff when he sees one.
Bush will pardon Scooty, and he knows there’s not a Dem who will stand up and fight this. They talk big now, but when Scoooty is pardoned, they’ll fold like an old wallet.
The Dems had their chance to fix this and so many other crimes committed by the GWB administration, via impeachment, but they pulled an Austria, thus their inability to make a decision will be their legacy.
In sport’s we call this “choking”.

Nasty Bullosi will wax verbosly at Scooter’s “alleged” foible and the administration but you never hear a cackle from her on the previous administration’s representative shoving classifed documents in his draws and not being censored by fellow democrats for wrongdoing.
